India's Land of Rich Heritage

Gujarat is the westernmost state of India, with Gandhinagar as its capital and Ahmedabad as its largest city. Home to the Gujarati-speaking people, this remarkable state has been shaped by great dynasties — from the Mauryas and Guptas to the Pratiharas and Chalukyas (Solanki) — under whose reign Gujarat witnessed great progress and prosperity.

From the sacred shores of Somnath and the holy city of Dwarka to the wild grasslands of Gir and the surreal white desert of the Rann of Kutch, Gujarat offers an extraordinary blend of spirituality, wildlife, history, and culture that is truly unlike any other Indian state.

The best time to visit Gujarat is October to February (winter season) when the weather is cool and pleasant, ideal for sightseeing and outdoor activities. This period also coincides with the famous Rann Utsav festival (November to February) and Navratri celebrations. Avoid May and June as it can get extremely hot.

For a basic Gujarat experience covering Ahmedabad, Dwarka and Somnath, 4–5 days is sufficient. To add Gir Forest and Rajkot, plan for 5–6 days. For a grand tour that also includes Diu, Jamnagar and the Rann of Kutch, 7–10 days is ideal. All our packages are fully customisable to suit your schedule.

The Exotic Gujarat Tour Package includes a night stay at Sasangir from where the Gir Forest Safari can be arranged. Safari permits need to be booked in advance as slots are limited. Our team will assist you in booking the safari permits at the time of package confirmation. Safari fees are charged separately as per government rates.
